Ubalia had her first foal late April: a beautiful, solid-bay filly out of AHHA approved stallion Picardo. See pictures below.

Ubalia is our 2004, four year old mare out of our Thoroughbred mare Rosie and sired by approved Holsteiner stallion Cathalido. We are proud she scored an 8 and a 7 at the American Holsteiner Horse Association (AHHA) judging in the fall of 2004 (click here for the 2004 judging results). She is registered with the AHHA and just gave birth to her first foal; a beautiful, tall, 2008 solid-bay filly out of AHHA approved Holsteiner stallion Picardo by Triple S Holsteiners. Cathalido is a 16.3 hand bay Holsteiner stallion formerly owned by Hans de Groot of Triple S Holsteiners in Sulphur Springs TX, tel. (903) 488-3570, triplesholstein@yahoo.com, www.triplesholsteiners.com, and was sold to Silver Creek Farm in Oklahoma in the fall of 2005. Click here for more information on Cathalido. Our 1988 dark bay Thoroughbred mare Rosie is the dam of both Ubalia and Paulus. We had her in the family since the early 1990s. Her registered name is Miss Ristocrat. She is a Dancing Crown x Sunstruck (Miss Rist). Sadly Rosie had an accident on May 10, 2006. She could not be saved and with great sadness we had to put her to sleep. Thank you for all the joy you gave us, Rosie! Sleep tight.

Rosie's 2000, 17 hand purebred TB son Paulus is a 6-year old sorrel gelding out of Thoroughbred stallion King's Canyon. He was sold in September 2005 to start an eventing career in the Dallas TX area. Good luck, Paulus!
